About Me
Hi! I’m Megan Broderick. Owner and solo operator of The Wag ‘n Wed.
My journey into the world of dog care started with one of my earliest memories being a thrilling sled ride, courtesy of our Alaskan Malamute, Bandit. Ever since, I've been captivated by the boundless joy dogs bring into our lives.
My first fur baby was a princess Pomeranian, Gracie. Since then, a diverse cast of furry friends have stolen my heart. From feisty Chihuahuas to playful Pitties, I adore them all.
My life has been a whirlwind of adventure over the last decade, splitting time between Charleston and a number of countries abroad. While this meant, it wasn’t possible to have a fur baby of my own, hardly a day passes without me surrounded by canine company. Whether it’s out on a hike, at the beach, supporting our local restaurants, or just lounging on the couch, I almost always have a dog cuddled up on my lap.
With nearly two decades of dog sitting and a decade of wedding + event planning under my belt, merging my passion for pups with my professional skills was a no-brainer.
For the past five years, I've had a dog concierge service side hustle where I had the honor of helping paw-rents include their beloved fur babies in their most cherished events, from weddings to engagements and beyond. I've also provided top-notch, in-home dog sitting services.
Inspired by the pure delight dogs bring to their families and the desperate need for reliable pet care, I decided to turn my side hustle into a full-time business, The Wag 'n Wed, when I moved back to Charleston permanently in December 2023. At the Wag n’ Wed, I ensure every furry family member is treated like royalty.
